Job Summary:

The ideal candidate leads multiple engineering projects from planning through launch, helping ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with customer and business expectations. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources, manage project risks, and keep projects moving forward. The position also plays a key role in improving project management processes, including APQP and Gate Reviews, to support successful product launches and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple engineering projects, including new model launches and strategic initiatives, from kickoff through completion.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with customer requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and work with the project team to develop solutions that keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and potential issues to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Manage project timelines, resource needs, and budgets to support successful project execution.
  • Lead APQP and Gate Review activities to help ensure projects meet quality, timing, and customer expectations.
  • Look for opportunities to improve project management processes by applying best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and other departments to ensure successful project execution.
  • Supervise and develop assigned team members, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
