Full Job Description
Job Purpose

This position represents Auto Spec Control department in a development team environment as Project Lead on a mix of complex Full Model Change (FMC) and Minor Model Change (MMC) developments. Creates, promotes, and manages critical milestones for successful package delivery. Track package delivery issues and quickly react to conflicts by creating unified countermeasures. Support project meetings and prepare reports to communicate project status within project team and management.

Key Accountabilities

Project Management
  • Create, promote, and manage critical development milestones. Collaborate with development team leadership to ensure that key milestones are kept.
  • Manage the drawing creation process with Global Operations coordination.
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to confirm details are clear leading to on-time delivery of drawing packages


BOM Verification
  • Develop solutions for complex problems related to package delivery and any other issue related to on-time delivery


Problem Resolution
  • Prepare and present weekly KPI reports using management information systems to report status and gap resolution to department management
  • Promote collaborative discussions so that potential issues are disclosed, discussed, and addressed.


Business Plan Themes
  • Lead the execution of strategic business initiatives to achieve company or operational goals. Set theme targets, set schedule, and execute theme tasks to achieve. Prepare and present quarterly reports to management on theme maturation.


Associate Development
  • Mentor new associates on Milestone definitions, development team dynamics, and PL responsibilities.


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelors of Science degree, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience
  • 2+ years of Project Leadership, Drawing Control, Engineering Mgmt Change, or Parts Control Mgmt
  • Excel (macro knowledge a +), PowerPoint, Communication, Time management
  • Analytical ability to take problems and competently analyze, prioritize, judge, and decide direction.
  • Ability to interact/communicate effectively with staff and management
  • Conceptual understanding of product development flow (Design Development Supply Chain and Production.)
  • Ability to take concepts and translate into action plans


Working Conditions

  • Hybrid office and remote (80/20)
  • Travel as required (
  • Overtime as required to maintain operations
