Production Manager

Build Homes. Lead People. Drive Results.

Yingst Building Group is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our team of New Home Superintendents and oversee the successful execution of residential construction projects throughout our communities.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on developing people, improving processes, and delivering exceptional homes and customer experiences. You'll work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Estimating, Warranty, and Executive Leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the high standards our homeowners expect.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of New Home Superintendents
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee production schedules and ensure homes are delivered on time
  • Monitor job costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability
  • Ensure consistent construction quality across all active communities
  • Conduct field visits and jobsite inspections to support quality and performance
  • Partner with Purchasing and trade partners to improve scheduling and execution
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and development of field staff
  • Support Superintendents in resolving complex construction and homeowner issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance and the customer experience

  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and quality control
  • Experience managing trade partner performance and resolving field-related construction issues
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold team members accountable
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety requirements, and residential construction best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
