Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated New Grad RN to join our Residency program in a world-class nursing team, providing exceptional care for patients with spinal cord injury (SCI), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other neurological conditions.

This is an opportunity for a clinically driven and patient-focused nurse who thrives in an interdisciplinary environment and is committed to delivering innovative, evidence-informed care. Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced RN, we support your professional development through a tiered Clinical Ladder program designed to elevate your practice at every stage.

As a Craig RN, you'll collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, case managers, and families to ensure holistic, individualized patient care. You'll not only manage complex clinical needs but also educate and empower patients toward independence and long-term wellness.

Shift: Varies;will be determined based on the hospital's needs and candidate's preference.

Compensation: $36.93/ hour - $53.18/ hour plus Shift Differentials as applicable

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Licensure & Certification
• Current Colorado RN license required
• BLS certification from AHA (Amercian Heart Association) required
• ACLS and relevant specialty certification (CNRN or CRRN) preferred

Education
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• BSN required within 18 months of hire (CCNE or NLNAC-accredited program preferred)

Experience
• Experience in neuroscience, acute med-surg, or rehabilitation strongly desired

Skills & Strengths
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
• Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and trauma-informed care
• Organized, self-motivated, and skilled in time management
• Comfortable using EMR (EPIC) and basic computer systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care aligned with Craig's standards and the ANA Code of Ethics
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on care plans, goals, and long-term self-management techniques
• Coordinate care with team members across disciplines, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity
• Safely administer medications and monitor for efficacy and adverse effects
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Apply principles of infection prevention and patient safety to every interaction
• Actively participate in Shared Governance, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities
• Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and team-oriented unit culture
