Full Job Description
UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Neurology Advanced Practitioner to join our team in West Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities

  • Neurology APP role focused on treating patients with movement disorders
  • Opportunity to learn DBS (Deep Brain Stimulator) monitoring and programming, as well as Botox for movement disorders and Vyalev Pump management.
  • Full time opportunity to join an established and growing outpatient practice within a large multi-hospital health system network
  • Each provider has a dedicated nurse - the team has experienced nurses with combined 175 years of experience in neurology
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
  • No call; 24/7 neurohospitalist support


Qualifications

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Required Experience: Neurology RN experience or 2 years of APP experience
  • Board Certified
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States
