Exceed MedicalJob Summary:The Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the neuro-intensive care unit. Our multidisciplinary team includes dedicated EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, dedicated fellowship trained neuro-intensivist physicians who work closely with neurosurgery and neuro-interventional teams.
Job Requirements:- Must be a board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate.
- Must have National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain NPI, prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing.
- Must hold current DEA Registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 and State issued prescribing authority.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Emergency
- Neurological Life Support (ENLS).
- Preferred experience of working at least one (1) year in the neuro-critical care setting as a NP or PA or neuro ICU experience as a RN.

- Procedure proctoring available if needed
