Education & Experience Requirement- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Mathematics is required
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science may be substituted in lieu of the computer science degree, depending on other qualifications and experience
- Experience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment is highly desirable
- Six (6) to nine (9) years of related work experience
Required Skills- Knowledge/experience for Windows/Linux in network infrastructure

Essential Daily Job Duties- Provide 2nd Level Engineering support for RMLS
- Maintain, configure, and improve network hardware (servers, routers, switches) in mixed Linux/Windows environments
- Manage and support Firewall, Load balancer configuration
- Upgrade and repair computer networks
- Deploy and update software
- Manage servers and their operating systems
- Implement security measures
- Develop/execute test processes and procedures
- Manage cloud and physical network storage
- Create and update network-related documentation
- Troubleshoot network issues
- RMLS Field Support 24x7 as needed
- Perform software configuration management; identify, analyze, and determine solutions for computer software problems
- Gather requirements and support computer software solution design, development, integration, and testing
- Collect, record, and analyze data/information; write technical/management reports
- Perform computer software investigation and inspection activities; recommend improvements to the design or operation of systems, equipment, or processes
- Provide SME technical support for new system acquisition efforts
- As a Level 3, act as a contributing specialist or team leader on single/small work activities; provide guidance to lower-level technical staff on difficult technical issues; serve as a key technical point of contact for assigned activities, working under limited direction of a Technical Manager or more experienced computer scientist/engineer
Work Environment- Full-time position with a standard flexible work schedule; occasional nights or weekends may be required
