Job DescriptionNavigator RN - Breast Center at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full-time and will work 10-hour, Day shifts.Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the RN Navigator coordinates cancer patient care and acts as a patient advocate. This includes monitoring patients through screening/diagnostic evaluation, assisting them with navigation through healthcare systems, providing education and emotional care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being, and identification and support in the development of programs and services to enhance patient care and support. The RN Navigator also provides education for general surgery patients.
Required Qualifications: - Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years of Clinical nursing experience as Registered Nurse
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Upon hire: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
- 3 years of Outpatient experience in a healthcare setting
- Oncology experience
