Leidos' Defense Systems is seeking a talented
Navigation, Guidance, Control SME Engineer for its Hypersonics line of business. The selected candidate will support the Common Hypersonic Glide Body program (CHGB). The CHGB is the Army's #1 priority for strategic weapons capability for long-range precision fires and will counter and gain a lead on our adversaries' technological advances in this field, come join us in this exciting, cutting-edge field.
Primary Responsibilities:- Conduct non-conformances investigations
- Troubleshoot test equipment and unit under test
- Work through root cause corrective action
- Assist in requirement decomposition
Basic Qualifications:- A BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- 4+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree) or a MS in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Must be capable of reading engineering drawings, electrical schematics, cable/wiring diagrams, and the corresponding work instructions to produce complex assemblies and provide valuable feedback to program leadership
- Familiarity with requirement decomposition
- Provide rapid integration and troubleshooting support for system-level integration
- Experience in electronics integration, test, and troubleshooting
- Must have hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and test methods including the use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, etc.
- Knowledge of test procedure development
- Knowledge of post test data processing
- Knowledge of environmental testing
- Knowledge of circuit design - analog, digital, power
- Organizational skills to document designs, assist with Technical Data Packages (TDP) and support production and test of the avionics
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience in effectively communicating within a team environment, which will include test and manufacturing engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience with manufacturing and production of avionics components
- Knowledge of test development to support troubleshooting hardware failures
- Knowledge of National Instruments Software
- Experience in a MIL-STD-810 Test Environment
- Knowledge of ASME and IEEE standards
- Experience supporting DoD programs related to missile systems, reentry vehicles, or hypersonic technologies
- Prior work in assembly, integration, or testing of missile systems.
- Experience supporting rapid development, prototyping, or fast-paced engineering programs.

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
