The Naval Power Business Unit has an immediate opening for an ambitious finance professional to join our team as a Principal Financial Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to work in a classified production environment, where all tasks are performed onsite. Our team is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, Estimate at Completions (EAC), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and ad hoc finance support to the program. As a member of the finance team, you will be joining a friendly, high-performing group that values trust, mutual respect, and the pursuit of innovative solutions to meet critical program objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Providing critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain.

  • Partnership with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution.

  • Support of all programs financial aspects including financial planning (LRP, AOP, Working Capital, Monthly Financial Performance Reporting,

  • Variance Analysis, Data Review and Reporting and NBI).

  • Program controls such as developing estimates at complete (EACs) and execution of EVM.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

  • Experience and understanding of the program business role, SAP, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts.

  • Experience with computer/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) when interfacing with all levels of the company.

  • Experience managing multiple DoD contracts.

  • Experience in using SAP Business Systems APEX EV & PRISM EV.

  • Strong customer focus, attention to detail and quality work.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
