Job Description
The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land & Water, is recruiting for a Natural Resource Manager 2 in Anchorage.
This position is now open to Alaska Residents only.

What You Will Be Doing:

This position leads the water management unit and supervises six advanced-level professionals who manage water within Southcentral Alaska as well as several statewide industry functions. This position manages statewide oil and gas water management across private, federal, and state-owned lands. The position also supervises the construction sector and municipal water management statewide. This position balances stewardship and management of the state's water resources by ensuring operators establish and comply with water-use regulations to maximize sustainable water resources.

All of this experience is applicable to the natural resource management definition. Some positions may require education in a particular area of natural resource management or specific technical knowledge and training gained through specialized education or progressively greater responsibilities at the lower levels of the series.
