Full Job Description
Your role

The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading North American sales strategy across the Edwards Vacuum North America business areas by developing a harmonized strategy for defining, developing the indirect sales channel program. You will also stimulate the capability and performance development of our related partners, what must lead to improved indirect sales professionalism within the framework of our cross-divisional diffuse market support. This role owns all indirect sales channels including sales representative firms, distributors, and resellers, driving revenue growth and channel excellence.

You will:
• Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with Edwards Vacuum business objectives, while leading all sales rep firms, distributors, and resellers across North America
• Own and deliver annual revenue targets, forecasts, and pipeline management
• Establish short-term (annual) and long-term (3-year) growth plans to drive sales using primarily indirect channel performance
• Define and implement a structured channel program including segmentation, expectations, and governance.
• Establish KPIs (commercial, operational, compliance) and conduct performance reviews of sales channels.
• Drive partner selection, onboarding, development, and performance management.
• Improve channel professionalism, coverage models, and go-to-market effectiveness.
• Ensure effective territory coverage through channels as required and monitor performance.
• Drive implementation of standardized channel tools, processes, and best practices
• Lead rollout and adoption of distributor excellence initiatives across regions
• Support digitalization and structured ways of working within channel management
• Identify new growth opportunities across semiconductor and general vacuum markets
• Support new product introductions, target account strategies, and market penetration plans
• Align with global divisions and Customer Centers on strategy and execution
• Optimize pricing, margins, and contract structures
• Drive Create modeling to assess customer potential to determine when a customer should shift from Rep/Dist/Reseller to direct or vice versa

You have a MBA or a Bachelor's in engineering, Business, or related field and 8-12+ years of experience in technical sales, channel management, or commercial leadership. In addition, you will have the following skills:
• Strong experience in vacuum technology, semiconductor, or industrial B2B markets
• Proven success managing distributors, rep firms, or indirect sales models.
• Experience in national or global roles within a matrix organization
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving capabilities
• Valid Driver's License

Job location

This role is remote, enabling you to work from anywhere in the U.S. We value results over location and provide the tools, flexibility and support you need to succeed from any location.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 annually, which does not include other benefits. Salary is based on national average. Final salary may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, job-related skills, internal peer equity, etc.
