Job Description

Join the team behind iconic brands like Huggies®, Kleenex®, Cottonelle®, Scott®, Kotex®, Poise®, Depend®, and Kimberly-Clark Professional®. At Kimberly-Clark, it’s all here for you—innovation, growth, and the chance to make a real impact.

You’re not the person who will settle for just any role. Neither are we. Because we’re out to create Better Care for a Better World, and that takes a certain kind of person and teams who care about making a difference. Here, you’ll bring your professional expertise, talent, and drive to building and managing our portfolio of iconic, ground-breaking brands. In this role, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. It starts with YOU.

About You

In one of our professional roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

The National Key Account Manager strategically preserves and grows our most important Building Service Contractor, Service Provider, and multi-unit national key account relationships to deliver above-market growth rates in conjunction with desired Kimberly-Clark Professional (KCP) North America business objectives. You are a trusted advisor that provides guidance and leadership to a cross-functional team. Your performance is enabled by product expertise and accelerated by strong communication and negotiation skills, relationship management, and a challenger mentality that doesn’t shy away from difficult conversations. You demonstrate flexibility by driving growth of Kimberly-Clark products across large, complex customer networks and multi-location end-user environments. In this individual contributor role, you’ll report to the Associate Director, National Accounts.

This is a remote position with travel expected up to 40%. Accounts supported by this role will primarily include Building Service Contractors, Service Providers, Managed Services organizations, and other multi-unit national key accounts.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver profitable growth for Kimberly-Clark by building and executing multi-year joint business plans with Building Service Contractors, Service Providers, and other multi-unit national key accounts based on market trends, segment insights, and customer priorities.

  • Generate revenue growth by expanding KCP product adoption across customer headquarters, field operations, and multi-location end-user sites, helping partners improve operational efficiency with product categories essential to their business.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior leadership at key accounts across procurement, operations, finance, and facilities. Your cadenced sessions will ensure continued alignment and monitoring of progress against strategic initiatives, address business challenges, amplify successes, and seek help to remove barriers.

  • Optimize and expand the KCP portfolio across assigned national key accounts with a focus on account penetration, site-level compliance, and share growth within the National Accounts book of business.

  • Optimize and expand the sale of KCP hand hygiene, tissue, and wiping product categories, helping Building Service Contractors, Service Providers, and multi-unit national accounts create cleaner, healthier, and more productive environments for their employees, clients, and end users.

  • Develop and lead customer presentations for joint business planning, category line reviews, new distribution pitches, trade shows, and promotional planning.

  • Support commercial execution, including forecasting, promotional planning, category line review management, coordinating and attending trade shows, and tracking sales performance.

  • Collaborate across all functions of KCP and Consumer, including Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service, eCommerce, National Accounts, and RGM, to elevate the customer experience.

  • Execute KCP initiatives, including eCommerce, Supply Chain, Pricing, and Terms and Conditions, effectively with the customer to achieve growth targets.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency and strengthen customer relationships by supporting partner-led growth initiatives, commercialization efforts, and account penetration plans.

  • Demonstrate business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities by leveraging insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending action-based solutions supported by analytics.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience with 3+ years of successful experience with a National Account customer base strongly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Deep understanding of B2B and B2C sales

  • Data driven analytical skills and decision making

  • Strong executive level communication, influencing and negotiation skills

  • Advanced MS Excel skills

  • Experience as part of a cross-functional team managing large and complex customers

  • Experience managing and influencing executive level relationships (internal and external); delivering results and satisfaction

  • A valid driver’s license

  • Travel up to 40% (may include limited weekends for retailer trade shows)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Segments (Commercial Real Estate, Property Management, Building Services, Lodging, High Traffic, Food Service and Entertainment) and applicable distribution channels within the market segment.
