National Account Manager, SHI (NAM) will be responsible for overseeing and managing key national account (SHI) within the technology sector. This role involves building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering tailored technology solutions. The NAM will serve as a strategic partner to clients, providing industry insights, managing large-scale contracts, owning partner management and sales relationships at SHI, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Responsibilities- Account Management & Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SHI building and nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Understand client business goals and challenges, offering tailored technology solutions that drive value and growth.
- Foster strong relationships at multiple levels of the organization (executives, technical teams, procurement) to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities.
- Sales & Revenue Growth
- Lead the sales efforts for assigned national accounts, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with both the client's objectives and the company's goals.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding product offerings.
- Solution Delivery & Project Coordination
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales engineering, product management, marketing) to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions.
- Monitor the progress of projects to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to clients in selecting the best technology solutions for their needs.
- Contract Negotiations & Renewals
- Lead contract negotiations and renewals with key national accounts, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company objectives.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, from initial discussions to final agreement, including pricing and terms.
- Market & Industry Insights
- Stay updated on technology trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
- Use market intelligence to anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions.
- Customer Advocacy
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring that client feedback is incorporated into product/service offerings and improving overall client experience.
- Manage client escalations and resolve issues quickly, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales pipeline, and forecasts for management review.
- Analyze sales data and trends to optimize strategies and improve account performance.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in channel account management with SHI, sales, or business development, preferably in the technology sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of technology solutions (e.g., cloud computing, software, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity) and the ability to translate technical concepts to business value.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Client Focused: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage senior-level executives and decision-makers.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with different departments, and drive results across multiple stakeholders.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $126,000 (On - Target Earnings)
