Description Overview

The NA Analytics Sr. Manager is responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making across the NA organization by delivering high-quality business reporting, market insights, and strategic analyses. The NA business is primarily store brand across most OTC categories but also has some priority brands like Mederma and Opill in Specialty Care. This role partners closely with local and global stakeholders to interpret market performance, evaluate growth opportunities, and inform portfolio expansion strategies. This role will support NA leadership, the executive leadership team, category and commercial teams by leading NA market, cross BU/category, and cross-retailer analytical plans through translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. This role supports business planning cycles, identifies whitespace and opportunity areas, and helps shape strategies that drive sustainable cluster growth.

Scope of the Role

  • Manage NA Category Standards & Definitions in partnership with Global Categories - Own single source of truth for category market data such as the standard definition in partnership with Category Business Analyst & Brand Team/NA Enterprise Data Governance Steward and cross-functional partners (I&A, IT, and Finance) and help lead regular data base refreshes and governance.
  • NA Cluster Weekly Business Reporting - Prepare accurate and insightful monthly business sales and share reports across the enterprise NA Cluster. Connecting with retailer teams, CS&E, and global categories to understand key drivers of results.
  • NA White Space Analyses & Portfolio Optimization - Help the Skin Health & Healthy Lifestyle teams understand new markets for expansion of the portfolio in core and adjacency areas, new forms, and successfully launch innovation.
  • NA Market Growth Analyses - Be a resource for helping refine market growth or decline assumptions for key business planning cycles, identify key drivers/levers, and influence plans to either return to growth or accelerate growth.
  • Lead NA Enterprise Analysis Plan - Build global analysis plan based on the category strategy and team's business questions such as top forms, flavors, molecules/ingredients, sizes, competitive deep dives, consumer/shopper purchase behavior, etc. leveraging prescriptive and predictive analytic approaches
  • NA Enterprise Opportunity Analyses - Proactively mine data to identify business opportunities across key markets and key business drivers (DVRP, innovation, etc.) while influencing multifunctional business partners to act.
  • Member of NALT - Active member of the NA cluster lead team accountable for driving market data driven insights into key regional business decisions and plans from category strategy, LRP, and ABP. Drive market measurement single source of truth across end-to-end category-cluster (customer) key deliverables.
  • Co-lead the Circana and other data provider relationship with the NA Enterprise Data Governance Steward- Conduct weekly meetings to discuss priorities, request analyses, capability/training, and provide 2-way feedback with plan to address.


Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, market measurement, or data strategy within a medium to large, complex organization, CPG preferred.
  • Experience with Circana data req, Nielsen, IQVIA, Kantar, Nicolas Hall, Mintel, Euromonitor, Europanel market measurement data preferred.
  • Ability to build advanced models and work flows in excel, Python, etc. a plus
  • Strong partnership experience with Marketing, Sales, IT, Digital, and Finance teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills to connect with many countries to understand context and drivers to the business reporting
  • Demonstrates ability to influence business stakeholders and drive change through data.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work with fragmented data and coverage gaps
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy and precision
  • Entrepreneurial spirt and strong sense of business ownership
  • Language: English proficient
