The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a dedicated and forward-thinking Musculoskeletal Imaging Faculty Member and Program Director of the MSK Fellowship. This is an exceptional opportunity for a collaborative educator and clinician-whether early in their leadership journey or more seasoned-to shape the next generation of musculoskeletal radiologists while practicing in a collegial, intellectually rich environment.

About the Role

With strong backing from the Chair of Radiology and MSK Division leadership, the incoming Program Director will have the opportunity to:
• Lead and continually enhance the MSK fellowship that prepares graduates for diverse academic and private practice careers.
• Oversee fellow recruitment, curriculum design, didactic education, and case-based learning across MR, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and image-guided MSK procedures.
• Mentor fellows in research, scholarship, quality improvement, and professional development.
• Partner with Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to advance integrated musculoskeletal care.
• Contribute to a robust MSK practice while cultivating a culture of teamwork, transparency, and shared purpose within the division.

Salary Range: $450k-600k+

Qualifications

Education, training, experience: ABR board eligible/certified, fellowship trained or prior experience in Musculoskeletal Imaging.
