Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking an experienced and dynamic audio-visual and multimedia specialist professional to join our growing Learning & Development (L&D) consulting team in Springfield, VA. The specialist will be responsible for supporting clients and assisting all aspects of adult learning and training to include as it relates to the design and development of multimedia products. We are looking for a creative thinker who is detail-oriented, project focused, and has the proven expertise to make learning meaningful and applicable for students.

This position is ideal for the individual who is energized by learning and seeking a career in multimedia as it relates to adult learning. The ideal candidate will have diverse experience within the L&D field and can easily adapt to different L&D expectations and requirements.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide multimedia expertise and support in the development of instructional content, tools, and courses.
  • Provide a wide range of expertise in the areas of graphics and interface design, multimedia programming, animations design and development, video editing, audio production and recording for the production of education and training materials, documents, and presentations.
  • Create visual concepts, such as: infographics, process graphics, 2D images, animations, and interactive graphics used to convey information to build understanding of concepts.
  • Successful candidates will develop overall layout and production design for various coursework, job aides, simulations, print media, interactive games, websites, videos, and information/educational artifacts.
  • Work independently while also collaborating with a mixed matrix team.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience OR Ph.D. with 4+ years of experience OR Associate's degree with 11+ years of experience OR High school diploma/GED with 14+ years of experience.
  • Degrees must be in visual arts, media, information systems, or related field.
  • Experience in accomplishing multimedia products and services by using skills related to photography, audio/visual production (traditional and modern digital production techniques and equipment), visual information, illustration, computer operation, and telecommunication work.
  • Experience operating audio/visual recorders, sound mixers, microphones, television cameras, and related equipment in a formal academic or professional education and training environment.
  • Experienced using a combination of authoring tools (e.g., Adobe suite), ability to take concepts gained through collaboration with SMEs, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to communicate concepts and ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate end users.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Tableau, Adobe Suite, and experience with Learning Content Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard).

Desired Qualifications

  • Possess strong communications skills, extremely organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing schedules and effectively managing expectations and providing detailed reporting across stakeholder groups.
  • Understanding of visual design, color theory, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX), Section 508, and file compression and optimization for multiple delivery format.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

USD $120,700.00 - USD $188,725.00 /Yr.
