About the team and the role:

eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in Bellevue, WA

What you will accomplish:

Job Duties: Assist in the development and deployment of eBay iOS apps. Analyze requirements prepare design, and develop robust, scalable software systems using object-oriented programming. Design functional and technical solutions using behavior-driven-development and test-driven-development. Maintain clean code and high-tier software craftsmanship. Coordinate testing at all levels (unit, integration, User Interface, and Acceptance) refactoring to enhance testability and re-usability. Utilize and enhance statistical analytical tools in support of continuous delivery and integration of developed products. Drive architecture discussions, produce well-documented design docs, and participate in design and code reviews. Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards, and improving build and test systems. Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit relationships, and provide alternative solutions as well as risk mitigation, planning, retrospectives, story writing and tasking, and training/coaching. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Additional Details

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
