Join the CMMS Transformation! Play a key role in Material Planning & Logistics' transformational journey from CMMS to SAP S4/HANA Material Management Platform. As an MMP Strategy Analyst on the MMP Project, you will help define the future state system that drives our production material planning & management. MMP - Materials Management Platform is the SAP S4/HANA solution procured by Ford Motor Company to replace CMMS3. The MMP Project Covers MP&L Business areas - Pre-Production Management, Production Planning, Production Execution, Inbound Logistics, Inventory Planning, Parts Follow up, Release, Receiving, Shipping, Warehousing, etc.

As an MMP Strategy Analyst, you will work on a dynamic, cross functional team comprised of IT, MP&L Business, System Integrator Partners, and Business Integrator partners to deliver a MRP solution that enables stream-lined business processes, key process efficiencies, and enhanced technology.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...
  • Work within designated Business areas in MMP implementation.
  • Work closely with cross functional team (Ford business teams, MMP Business, Ford MMP IT, Accenture (IT Partner), Infosys (Business Partner)) to layout existing business practices and understand future state functionality and capabilities within MMP on the SAP S4/Hana platform.
  • Define future MP&L business processes and design the MMP functional solution to ensure workable (enhanced, wherever possible) and industry-best solutions are defined for sustainable business.
  • Make and own the decisions and approve/disapprove proposed solutions.
  • Work with cross functional team to ensure workable and industry-best design decisions are made. Support requirement gathering across integrations with other systems both upstream and downstream from Material Requirements Planning
  • Review end to end business scenarios, devise UAT test cases, perform tests and validate test results - with the support of the team
  • Communicate to the business teams on project status, changes and drive the changes.
  • Work as a team to launch MMP in the plant, provide launch and post-launch support - onsite/offsite.
  • Identify continuous improvements to MMP product through the development cycle
  • Identify and coordinate training needs for impacted business teams
  • Drive adoption of MMP on the SAP S4/Hana platform across the business teams
  • Coordinate testing scenarios, data requirements for testing, and cutover activities
  • Identify security/system access needs and business roles
  • Understand business reporting needs and support the establishment of data analytics to drive the business forward


Qualifications

You'll have...
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant or military experience.
  • Prior SAP experience
  • Breadth of material planning, production planning and inventory management functional experience and understanding of key business processes and supporting systems

Even better, you may have...
  • SAP MRP, MM, PPDS specific experience in an automotive/repetitive manufacturing environment
  • Strong supply chain, supplier performance and/or plant experience preferred
  • Prior Lean experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership behaviors, with a systemic process-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to lead and facilitate discussions amongst cross-functional teams
  • Strong CMMS3 knowledge

This position is a salary grade 6 , 7 or 8 and ranges from $74,300--$166,200.
