Makpar has an exciting opportunity for a
Monitoring Platform Engineer (Senior) to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform hands-on configuration, deployment, tuning, and sustainment of enterprise monitoring solutions within a secured environment.
Role Specific Duties/ Role Responsibilities:- Perform hands-on configuration, deployment, tuning, and sustainment of monitoring solutions.
- Develop dashboards, alerts, and automation using Splunk SOAR/Ansible, along with event management workflows.
- Support integration testing and production rollout activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate monitoring requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Document configurations, standard operating procedures, and lessons learned to support knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications:- Minimum 6 years of experience configuring and supporting enterprise monitoring tools in secured environments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and CMDB integration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across monitoring, alerting, and telemetry pipelines.
- Ability to work independently in a secured, enterprise environment with minimal oversight.
Additional Qualifications as per contract/client (Optional or Preferred):- Experience with Splunk SOAR and/or Ansible for automation and event management workflows.
