Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking a technical analyst to join a growing and dynamic program to provide client facing production support and service desk support to a large multi agency Momentum environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for government agency ERP system (Momentum) end users when they are seeking hands on Momentum assistance, support for integrations, and maintenance of application, and troubleshooting and issue resolution support. This is a great opportunity to expand your skillset in areas of client engagement and technical government finance and accounting services. Ideal candidates will be dependable and self motivated, have an understanding of IT fundamentals with experience supporting Momentum ERP systems, hands on experience with SQL, and an interest and aptitude in finance and accounting.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA, Knoxville, TN, Lebanon, VA, or Lafayette LA. office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Support account team 8.0 activities by being the first layer of support. You should be well versed in all components of the 8.0 technology including how to install, troubleshoot, and operate the component.
. Coordinate with appropriate FSG or other account teams on issues and support.
. Document solutions thoroughly and accurately through appropriate channels.
. Consider the "big picture" and create solutions that can be used by all accounts
. Provide quality customer support for all incoming inquiries (via ticket, call, chat, email or in person) for agency Momentum related issues or requests.
. Assist in engineering, configuring, and maintaining the infrastructure supporting Momentum ERP across development, test, and production environments.
. Respond to Technical support requests from Momentum delivery teams, leveraging existing product knowledge and analytical skills.
. Provide quality client support by promptly responding to inquiries and questions and by behaving in a professional and courteous manner at all times. •
. Work closely with the internal team members, product owners, and agency staff to address reported issues and concerns into workable solutions. •
. Develop deep Momentum application knowledge, to include its operating environment and its external dependencies.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred but not required.
. Prefer 2 to 5 years of Momentum experience.
. Foundational knowledge of, or strong interest in, Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
. Exposure to containerization (Docker/Podman) and container orchestration concepts.
. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
. Working knowledge of a scripting/automation language (e.g., Python, Bash) and Linux administration.
. Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
. Working knowledge of SQL.
. Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a collaborative, cross functional team.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. Familiarity with configuration management/IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
. Familiarity with JBoss, WebLogic, or similar application servers.
. Awareness of monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
. Exposure to Oracle SQL and database backed applications.
. Basic understanding of government/NIST security requirements.
. Agile or cloud certifications a plus.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,600.00 $176,300.00.
