  • Translate customer needs into test plans, product recommendations, and validated solutions
  • Deliver technical training to customers and channel partners
  • Lead or participate as a core member of an engineering or product commercialization team
  • Support the development of new and modified products to meet customer and market needs
  • Apply scientific methods to evaluate product performance, quality issues, and new applications
  • Develop expertise in specialized tribology testing and equipment in collaboration with global experts
  • Identify opportunities to leverage low-friction coatings and advanced lubricants for differentiated solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and business teams
  • Travel up to ~50% within the Americas for customer engagement and training

What You Bring

  • Results-driven, self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering against deadlines
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform root cause analysis and translate findings into practical solutions
  • Experience taking concepts from early-stage idea through commercialization
  • Proficiency in data analysis and scientific methodology
  • Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and effectively engage customers
  • Collaborative approach across technical and commercial teams

Qualifications

  • B.S degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in lubrication, tribology, or related field
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, lubricating materials, and tribology fundamentals
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a scientific, data-driven approach
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Previous experience in oil & gas or industrial lubrication systems is preferred
  • Certified Lubricating Grease Specialist (CLGS) or Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) is a plus
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus
