Senior MS&A Engineer, you will lead the development and application of sophisticated modeling and simulation solutions used to analyze NGA architectures, requirements, and system performance. You will work across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments to evaluate alternatives, assess emerging capabilities, and provide data-driven recommendations that improve mission effectiveness. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and serve as a trusted technical advisor on complex GEOINT-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and application of complex models, simulations, tools, and algorithms to identify trends and patterns within large-scale data environments.
- Analyze and model NGA architectures, systems, requirements, and performance to support current and future GEOINT capabilities.
- Develop and evaluate analysis of alternatives (AoA), performance trades, and design trade studies to inform technology and mission decisions.
- Create models supporting the assessment and deployment of new capabilities within NSG architectures and cloud-based environments.
- Provide technical recommendations based on simulation and analytical results to improve mission performance.
- Assess solutions operating across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and mission partners to define requirements and operational needs.
- Guide and mentor mid-level and junior MS&A engineers, promoting technical excellence and best practices.
- Support strategic initiatives aligned with NGA and NSG objectives for the future of GEOINT.
Required QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree or higher in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Engineering
- Engineering Management
- Management Information Systems
- Mathematics
- Related STEM discipline
OR- Four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
OR- Two (2) additional years of relevant experience with a non-STEM degree
Experience- 12+ years of experience modeling large, complex:
- Systems of Systems (SoS)
- Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA)
- Cloud-based, hybrid, or on-premises environments
- Experience developing and utilizing modeling and simulation tools in cloud environments.
Clearance Requirement- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI eligibility and successfully complete a polygraph.
Desired QualificationsAdvanced Education- Master's degree in:
- Computer Science

- Mathematics
- Related STEM field
Technical Expertise- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, tools, and languages.
- Experience with Machine Learning concepts and applications.
- 12+ years of Operations Research experience.
- Experience performing MS&A on solutions utilizing:
- Cloud-based technologies
- Structured and unstructured Big Data
- Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence (AAI) capabilities
Leadership- Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Experience leading complex analytical efforts supporting mission-critical systems.
