The OpportunityThe Mobile Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of technicians that service and repair heavy mobile equipment. The Mobile Maintenance Supervisor's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to delivering preventative maintenance schedules, coordinating equipment repairs both in the field and shop, as well as maximizing asset uptime and enforcing strict safety standards.
Responsibilities- Ensures that high standards of safety are developed, met, and maintained.
- Arranges and coordinates regular safety inspections within the area of responsibility.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues while overseeing technicians
- Conducts safety meetings and hazard assessments with the mobile maintenance team and other departments
- Supervise and manage crew training and technician progression.
- Conducts monthly and quarterly maintenance inspections of each piece of heavy equipment. Provides a summary of maintenance recommendations.
- Supervises the completion of corrective and preventative maintenance in accordance with operating procedures, practices, and financial considerations.
- Ensure that equipment is maintained in safe, operable condition and/or arranges for repair/replacement.
- Develops, implements, and reviews equipment records (included in maintenance logs).
- Establish procedures and contacts to ensure timely repairs/replacement of equipment in a manner that minimizes interruption to production goals.
- Makes recommendations for purchase of new equipment when repair is not cost effective or in line with long-term goals.
- Attend training programs relevant to the duties and responsibilities of this position.
- Provides staff training in a variety of safety and maintenance topics including the effective utilization of the maintenance logs, completion of routine maintenance specific to the facility, equipment operations, and fire safety training.

Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-5 + years of hands-on field experience.
- Proven leadership ability is critical to the success of this role.
