The Digital Platform team builds and supports the core technologies that power Stellarus products. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Applications, you will design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable mobile and cloud-based solutions. You will leverage AI, automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices to deliver high-quality applications, improve engineering efficiency, and enhance operational reliability. This role requires a hands-on engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, champions code quality and continuous improvement, and applies modern technology trends to drive innovation and business value.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:
  • With an Artificial Intelligence (AI) forward approach, design, develop, and deliver mobile applications and cloud-native solutions using modern frameworks, technical specifications, and architecture standards.
  • Develop efficient, scalable, and cost-effective solutions by leveraging reusable components, platform capabilities, automation, and engineering best practices.
  • Drive operational excellence through incident management, AI-enabled process automation, smooth deployments, and ongoing support of technology products and platform features.
  • Enhance application reliability, scalability, and performance through CI/CD practices, cloud monitoring, configuration management, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Coordinate support and integration activities across multiple application platforms and business processes, ensuring seamless operation within a cloud environment.
  • Operate with a high degree of independence while applying knowledge of IT, cloud technologies, and healthcare industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.


Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in enterprise and mobile application development, support, and cloud-based solution delivery.
  • Multiple years' experience building and deploying mobile applications using React Native is required. At least one year experience with native iOS and/or Android development is required. The ideal candidate's experience will be on critical mobile applications with large user base (hundreds of thousands to millions of users).
  • Advanced hands-on experience designing, coding, integrating, securing, and deploying mobile applications and platform capabilities, including REST APIs, authentication, secure storage, performance optimization, and mobile security best practices.
  • Experience using AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Rovo, Claude, or similar technologies to accelerate software delivery; leveraging AI within CI/CD pipelines is highly preferred.
  • Strong scripting, automation, and DevSecOps experience using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices automate builds, testing, deployments, and cloud operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, service-oriented architecture, enterprise integrations, observability practices, and cloud-native technologies, preferably within Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions, evaluate risks and trade-offs, collaborate across stakeholders and vendors, lead engineering best practices, and communicate complex technical solutions effectively; healthcare industry experience is preferred.
