Full Job Description
Mission Integration Engineer SAIC is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer to provide SETA support on a high-visibility program supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) in Aurora, CO. This role sits at the center of enterprise-level acquisition, integration, and modernization efforts that shape how multi-INT collection is orchestrated to achieve National Security objectives. You will partner directly with government leaders and development contractors to design, evaluate, and deliver next-generation tools that automate and optimize collection management across the full system life cycle. All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. This position combines hands-on engineering with high-visibility mission influence. You will: • Architect advanced cross-program solutions that automate object custody; performing solution engineering, integrated architecture development, and operational integration of multi-INT tools and data that directly shape mission outcomes across the full breadth of the National Security enterprise. • Shape future system planning to meet urgent National Security priorities by developing requirements, assessing design approaches, and providing oversight of development contractors to ensure alignment with mission needs. • Provide specialized systems engineering and operations expertise supporting definition, development and integration of multi-intelligence (multi-INT) software capabilities. • Assist and advise Government managers responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise. • Apply experience with Joint/Combined military operations, systems engineering methods and creative thought-leadership to mature and develop mission solutions to pressing intelligence needs. This role stands out because it places you at the intersection of mission impact, cutting-edge technology, and strategic influence. You'll operate in a cloud-forward, automation-driven environment, work directly with senior government stakeholders, and provide trusted SETA insight without vendor bias-giving you a unique vantage point to shape the future of multi-INT collection orchestration. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree. • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. • Expertise developing solutions (sets of technical requirements) to satisfy broad mission requirements in alignment with user CONOPS. • Broad systems engineering exposure (e.g. system architecture and design, integration of system requirements, CONOPS development, systems verification to develop solutions.) • Experience balancing development priorities, schedule, and risk to deliver mission capabilities. • Understanding of current IC/DoD ISR architectures (GEOINT, SIGINT, OPIR, and/or MTI) and their planned employment across the TCPED cycle to achieve mission effects. • Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate in a dynamic, fast paced team. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work. • Strong oral and written communications ability on significant technical matters often requiring coordination within a high tempo environment.
