Job Description:

Are you ready to be at the forefront of mining technology? As a key player in the Cat MineStar implementation team, you'll dive into the world of cutting-edge MineStar technology products. From Command for Hauling, Dozing, and Drilling (autonomy) to Fleet, Terrain, Health, Edge, DSS, Reporting, and more, you'll be part of a team that's revolutionizing the mining industry!

You will define mining site infrastructure, set up servers, install and configure MineStar products, and perform system upgrades with each new release. For this role, the primary focus will be to support the deployment and commissioning of Command for Dozing and Command for Drilling. Embark on-site visits to mining locations, ensuring seamless implementation and upgrades.

Innovate and Inspire: Drive customer recognition of the incredible value of our product features, improved processes, and change management.

Be the Expert: Enhance your product-positioning knowledge for Caterpillar and provide invaluable feedback on product features and benefits.

Field Explorer: Identify and document job/application profiles based on real-world observations while working directly with customers.

Industry Ambassador: Elevate the industry's perception of Caterpillar and actively participate in related mining associations.

What Skills you will have:

Technical Excellence: Experience in engineering, mining technology, IT or previous knowledge of Caterpillar MineStar or other Fleet Management System Technologies (Onboard & Office); ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges. A passion for mining operations and technology products.

Field Support: Hands-on experience with software and hardware installation and system configuration. A spirit of adventure and willingness to travel to mining sites as needed.

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and the ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

Previous Cat MineStar System or other Fleet Management System knowledge.
Knowledgeable of base machine systems and how technology products work together with them.

Knowledge of mining Fleet Technology, Caterpillar policies, procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar's organization.

Additional Information:

The primary location for this position is Tucson, Arizona.

Domestic relocation assistance is available.

This position may require 30 - 50 % travel.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
