What You'll Do:- Assemble and maintain the asset hierarchal structure, BOM's, inventory addition requests and PM activity requirements in alignment to manufacturer/regulatory requirements for the Surface mechanical assets and emergency systems
- Evaluate and plan various types of work orders pertaining to normal maintenance, planned maintenance shutdowns and extended turnarounds
- Maintain comprehensive equipment specifications, records and histories for all Surface production related industrial equipment and ensure the accumulation of accurate data
- Receive job requests and review them with the initiating parties and/or Planning/Mill Supervision to clarify any aspects of concern of the work requests and to confirm the necessity of the job requests.
- Ensure all priority work is planned through the work order system in accordance with prescribed procedures. This will include but not limited to - job scope/plan, time allowance, trade selection, material requirements, specialty tools, etc.
- Perform all of the listed maintenance planning functions to ensure safe, reliable, cost-effective operation of the Surface assets. This includes the raw ore storage and transfer, both mills/refineries, loadout facility, finished product storage, tails management and the self-gen facilities
- Resolve any Work Order feedback related to the Assets you plan to work for
What You'll Bring:- 3+ years' experience operating in an industrial maintenance environment.
- 3+ years in a proactive maintenance planner/scheduling or coordinating role.
- Mechanical background with an Interprovincial Red Seal or a Technical Designation.
- Strong Safety Commitment
- Strong knowledge of proactive maintenance cultural methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Oracle EAM & iProcurement along with Viziya Scheduler considered a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
