Job Description

Position Summary

The Military/Veteran Talent Acquisition Specialist provides full-cycle recruiting support while leading the implementation and execution of military and veteran hiring initiatives. This role partners closely with business leaders, HR, and external military-affiliated organizations to identify, attract, and hire high-quality military-connected talent.

In addition to core recruiting responsibilities, this position serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on veteran hiring, translating military skills into business needs and building scalable programs that enhance the organization's military talent pipeline.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Core Talent Acquisition Responsibilities
• Engage business leaders to forecast current and future talent needs
• Lead intake discussions with HR and hiring managers
• Manage requisitions in ATS ensuring compliance
• Source, screen, and present qualified candidates
• Market opportunities through multiple channels
• Build relationships with candidates throughout the lifecycle
• Partner with hiring managers and HR
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Build proactive pipelines of talent
• Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire

Military & Veteran Recruiting Initiative
• In partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition, design and implement a military/veteran recruiting strategy
• Develop sourcing strategies for transitioning service members
• Translate military skills into civilian roles
• Build partnerships with military programs and organizations
• Manage military-focused pipelines
• Lead participation in military hiring events
• Develop employer branding for veterans
• Train recruiters and hiring managers
• Monitor program effectiveness using data
• Ensure compliance with veteran hiring regulations

Program Development & Employer Brand
• Develop targeted recruitment marketing campaigns
• Collaborate on employer branding initiatives
• Support DEI initiatives focused on veterans
• Benchmark best practices
• Participate in strategic TA projects

Required Skills

Required Experience & Education
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years recruiting experience
• Military recruiting experience preferred
• Experience with ATS systems
• Certification in military recruiting is a plus

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior military service or related experience
• Experience building veteran hiring programs
• Familiarity with SkillBridge or transition programs

For informational purposes only, the range for annual base salary for this role is $95,000 to $115,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Executive Bonus Plan, paid out up to 10% of the applicable annual base salary, based on the Company's performance in the prior calendar year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
