Full Job Description
SAIC is actively interviewing for multiple Sr. Military Analysts to support the T2COM, Futures and Concepts Command (FCC) at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing the threat and future operational environment, develop future concepts, requirements, and an integrated modernization pathway to increase lethality and overmatch to enable Soldiers and units to compete-and, if necessary-deploy, fight, and win future wars. Additionally, the Sr. Military Analyst will work within FCC's Futures Integration Directorate (FID) and support all nine divisions within that directorate. The Senior Military Analyst will provide subject matter expertise and analyses for capability development, gap analysis, and experiment planning and execution. The focus of support is ensuring that requirements align with overall strategy for building the future Army force of 2040. The scope of this position encompasses all FID activities and requires coordination and communication within the FID as well as other organizations within FCC and T2COM. Additional responsibilities may include: 3 Assisting in the conduct of thorough analyses in support of concept development, capability gap assessment, and experiment/exercise directives and objectives for the future Army force of 2040. 3 Working in close coordination with government personnel when determining information collection requirements and identifying specific tasks to be analyzed. 3 Coordinating with government personnel when determining information collection requirements and identifying specific tasks to be analyzed. 3 Partnering with the experiment/exercise support team and customers, including other military agencies, industrial partners, and educational institutions as appropriate to assist in facilitating the planning and execution of experiments efforts. 3 Providing doctrinal expertise across all Warfighting Functions (WfFs), in support of analyses. 3 Researching and incorporating data drawn from a wide range of sources, such as military policy, AFC campaign strategy, war plans, etc., in support of future force development/endeavors. 3 Participating in FCC experiments and simulation exercises, to include Future Studies Program (FSP) and FCC's Capstone live prototype demonstrations across multiple locations within CONUS. 3 Collecting, assembling, and analyzing information inputs to evaluate the completion of mission tasks and achievement of FCC objectives. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: 3 Minimum of 10+ years of experience serving in a U.S. military agency as military or civilian in progressively responsible command and staff positions with a bachelor's degree. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 3 US Army Futures and Concepts Command experience highly desired. 3 Active Secret Clearance; Must be able to obtain a Top Secret. Possess the minimum experience identified below in at least three of the following: 3 Minimum of three (3) years' experience with service or joint doctrine, to include maneuver, maneuver support, fires, intelligence, signal, or sustainment operations. 3 Minimum of three (3) years' extensive experience with service or joint staff's organizations, functions and procedures. 3 Experience with service or joint organizations, operations, and exercises at levels comparable to Army Division or higher. 3 Experience in the preparation and conduct of Course of Action briefs, seminars, or commander's initiatives group updates for general and senior field grade officers. 3 Experience serving in T2COM, AFC, or TRADOC as a military member or civilian in the areas of Army concepts, integration or capability development. Serving in ARCIC/FCC, CDID/FCD, or TCM/ACM is highly desired. 3 Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the compilation and presentation of materials in both written and oral formats in support of general and senior field grade officers. Desired Experience: 3 Graduate from Command and General Staff College. 3 Completion of Warfighting Acquisition University or Defense Acquisition University courses in Requirements and/or Capability Development such as, RQM1010, RQM 1011, or CLR 250, or Capability Development Course. 3 Graduate of Capabilities, Training, and Doctrine Development Integration Course or Capability Development Course. 3 Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) experience highly desired.
