Full Job Description
Job Description:

Seize the opportunity to make a personal impact as a Program Manager supporting client planning, DD1391 development, and facility-IT integration across installation projects. You will synchronize with multiple stakeholders, align construction schedules with mission IT dependencies (MDF/IDF, network, cabling, power), and proactively manage risk, cost, and cutover sequencing to protect operational readiness. You will lead the end-to-end planning cycle - requirements intake, documentation, approvals, and execution oversight - while driving disciplined program controls (integrated master schedule, risk register, stakeholder battle rhythm, and executive briefings). You will facilitate design reviews and decision boards, translating facility choices into IT impacts so construction milestones, commissioning, procurements, and activation windows remain achievable.

The work you'll do:
  • Coordinate daily with DPW, USACE, installation leadership, facilities, and IT engineering to achieve MILCON objectives and enable mission operations.
  • Resolve planning and execution challenges by leading scope, schedule, and risk trade off decisions and documenting outcomes.
  • Establish and enforce a stakeholder battle rhythm; maintain program artifacts and decision logs with version control.
  • Own deliverables that directly affect mission readiness by integrating facility buildouts with IT dependencies and cutovers.
  • Apply expertise and working IT knowledge (MDF/IDF layouts; network/cabling/power) to develop integrated schedules and cost estimates.
  • Prepare and deliver stakeholder briefings, status updates, and risk reports to leadership.

Here's what you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management.
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • Coordination and DD1391 authorship/ownership.
    • Integrated scheduling and risk management.
    • Conducting stakeholder briefings and stakeholder management.
    • Facility-IT integration (MDF/IDF, network, cabling).
    • MS Project or equivalent.
    • Disciplined program control.
    • Ability to translate facility requirements into IT impacts.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Exceptional written communication.
  • PMP or DAWIA certification.
  • Prior government civilian experience.
  • Experience with USACE district processes and installation IT buildouts.

Security clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
