Overview

Performs administration of cloud and on-site technologies and provides end-to-end solutions for IT Systems. Creates and configures virtual and physical machines in a multi-platform environment. Monitors system performance and addresses any issues through an effective support process.

 

Pay Range $68,500-110,000

The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, geographic location, and any applicable laws.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technicalexpertisesupporting information system components, infrastructureintegrationand maintenance to satisfy system security requirements for several stakeholders.
  • Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users asrequiredvia phone, e-mail, on-line systems and in person.
  • Configure information technology infrastructurein accordance withbest practices and DISA STIGs.
  • Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems applicable to the compliance of RMF accreditation packages.
  • Monitor, evaluate, andmaintainsystems and procedures to safeguard information systems,networksand databases.
  • Install software, updates,patchesand upgrades.
  • Install,configureand manage ADS or Azure DevOps Server repositories.
  • Understanding of software configuration management, build, deployment and release management, application lifecycle management, infrastructure, and DevOps tools and processes.
  • Have a customer centric approach and provide all level of support for the technical and cyber team as well as the user base community.
  • Providehands-on guidance to programming staff on topics such as branching and merging, workstation configuration, andgeneral useof the tools.
  • Monitor infrastructure for version currency.
  • Work with the data center vendor and the application teams to upgrade servers, operating systems, middleware software, database software, and agency applications.
  • Coordinate OS, middleware, and database patching.
  • Notify affected teams of the upgrade and patching activities.
  • Similarly, work with application teams toidentifyserver needs for new applications.
  • Provides advice and training to end-users and provides mentorship to junior team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.Additionalexperience may substitute for degree.
  • 2-7years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of current systems and applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware conflicts.
  • Be able to quickly adapt to new situations, have a strong commitment to a team environment,maintaina capacity to work with little supervision, and the willingness to learnnew technologies.
  • Experience with storage,backupand disaster recovery technologies.
  • MS Windows server installation/configuration experience.
  • Group Policy / Active Directory configuration and management.
  • Experience with PowerShell.
  • Active Directory.
  • Folder permission management.
  • Knowledge of O365, SharePoint, and Azure.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, preferred.
  • Certifications: Microsoft MCP or MCSA, preferred.
  • Knowledge of VMware, MACs, Linux.
  • Azure Group Policy administration, systemsecurityand AD integration.
  • Microsoft Azure SQL Database and Azure Blob storage experience.
  • An active DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
