Program Summary This program drives innovation across the Intelligence Community by fusing data, analytics, and modern software engineering into a next-generation mission platform. The team is developing cloud-based applications, advanced automation, and scalable microservice architectures that redefine how mission data is integrated and acted upon. Engineers on this effort are empowered to experiment, design, and deliver solutions that directly impact national security-advancing speed, accuracy, and insight across complex intelligence workflows.
Primary Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions supporting intelligence and geospatial missions.
- Build and maintain secure containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Develop RESTful APIs and web interfaces using React, Node.js, Flask, or Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with mission users to refine requirements and enhance system usability.
- Support DevSecOps pipelines and maintain accreditation compliance across environments.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of experience, or Master's with 2-6 years.
- Experience developing in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Agile collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience working within AWS or similar cloud environments.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and system accreditation processes (RMF/STIGs).
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with geospatial tools such as GeoServer, PostGIS, or ArcGIS.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- AWS Certified Developer or CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Experience developing applications supporting Intelligence Community customers.
Compensation Target Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000
