Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
- Investigate supplier product rejected by production shop floor for validation of supplier responsibility
- Ensure that suppliers provide Root Cause and Corrective Action on supplier non-conforming product rejected on tags in SAP/MES
- Investigation of customer initiated non-conformance tags for validation of supplier responsibility
- Containment of non-conforming supplier product
- Becoming Material Review Board approved for validation of supplier rejections
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- This will be a 2nd Shift Position
- 5 - 8 years of experience in manufacturing and operations
- 5 - 8 years of experience with Quality/Manufacturing Engineering
- Competent in Root Cause Corrective Action and ability to perform conformity checks.
- Strong ability to read drawings, procedures, First Article Inspections (FAI) and understand contracts.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of CATIA programs
- Proficient in 2D and MBD
- Use of SAP/MES
Ability to pass Quality Inspector training to validate use of tools for calibration
- Ability to work inside aircraft and tight spaces, including overhead and under-head tasks.
Must be able to bend, twist, lift over 20lbs, stand for lengths of time and no fear of heights
Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Working familiarity of Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- LEAN and Six Sigma certification
- Contact other organizations within the company, and vendors to accomplish work assignments
- Use prints, standards, manuals, catalogs, and other documents to identify parts, materials, assemblies and to obtain dimensions, specifications, etc.
Pass on pertinent information to succeeding shift regarding own work assignment.
Refer questionable cases, discrepancies, suggested improvements or changes to employees of higher classification or management
Use precision measuring instruments, inspection devices, machines and equipment, shop mathematics, inspection books, etc. in performing work assignments.
Obtain drawings and check parts for conformance to all specifications on drawings.

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $77,250 - $118,450
