  • Hourly pay: $80 to $90hr
  • Worksite: Leading music streaming company (Remote, Open to candidates located in the United States)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

A leading music streaming company seeks a Mid-level Incident Response Consultantto investigate active security incidents, respond to cyber threats, and help protect critical systems.

Mid-level Incident Response Consultant Qualifications:
  • Investigate security alerts from initial detection through containment, performing triage, log analysis, and incident response activities across assigned cases.
  • Manage incident investigations end-to-end, escalating complex or high-severity events as needed while maintaining clear communication with security leadership.
  • Document investigation findings, timelines, and remediation actions to support operational handoffs, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with security operations teams to identify indicators of compromise, analyze attack patterns, and strengthen response efforts.
  • Utilize SIEM, EDR, and other security tools to monitor threats, investigate incidents, and support continuous security operations.

Mid-level Incident Response Consultant Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in incident response, security operations, or SOC analyst roles with the ability to independently manage active investigations.
  • Working knowledge of SIEM, EDR, log analysis, threat detection, and common cyberattack techniques.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

Shift:
