06/30/2027Position OverviewThe State of Ohio is seeking an experienced Microsoft Server & Azure IaaS Administrator to support enterprise Windows Server infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, Azure IaaS, and PowerShell automation while ensuring security, high availability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Group Policy.
- Manage Azure IaaS resources including virtual machines, networking, storage, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Configure and support IIS websites, SSL certificates, application pools, URL Rewrite, and performance tuning.
- Implement security baselines, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
- Develop PowerShell scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to automate administration.
- Support monitoring, troubleshooting, patch management, and capacity planning.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and infrastructure diagrams.
- Support server upgrades, cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and IRS 1075 compliance activities.
