Microsoft Dynamics D365 Consultant

Description

Summary:

The Microsoft Dynamics D365 Consultant at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our IT Group team supporting efforts to design, implement, test, optimize, and support enterprise business systems that drive operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. This position involves working with business and other technical team members to understand and document requirements, explain options using standard D365 functionality, develop and explain solutions, and ultimately configure, test and document such solutions. The role works across multiple D365 functional areas with the primary focus on finance in support of manufacturing and supply chain operations. The role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, collaborative, and experienced in ERP implementations within a complex multi-entity and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. D365 Implementation & Configuration:
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop a deep understanding of current processes, workflows, systems and processes
  • Conduct Business Process Analysis workshops and prepare Solution Blueprint and Fit/Gap analysis documents
  • Develop and document scalable system solutions using Finance, Supply Chain, Production Planning and related modules which meet business and technical requirements while simplifying and streamlining operations
  • Provide advisory guidance on throughout Project lifecycle- Discovery, Design, Testing, Cutover and Support phases
  • Configure system workflows, business processes, and modules to align with operational needs
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop a deep understanding of current processes, workflows, systems and processes
  • Conduct Business Process Analysis workshops and prepare Solution Blueprint and Fit/Gap analysis documents
  • Develop and document scalable system solutions using Finance, Supply Chain, Production Planning and related modules which meet business and technical requirements while simplifying and streamlining operations

2: Integration & Data Management
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate D365 with other systems
  • Identify integration touchpoints between D365 F&O and external systems, author integration scope and requirements and support technical design and integration development efforts
  • Support data migration, validation, and governance efforts
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms

3: PMO and Governance

  • Maintain and contribute to PMO project artifacts throughout the project lifecycle, including status reports, issue and risk logs, decision logs, and change request documentation.
  • Provide regular project status updates to the IT PMO, ensuring alignment with established reporting cadences and escalating risks or blockers in a timely manner.

4: Training, Documentation & Collaboration
  • Develop training materials and deliver end-user training sessions
  • Create and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user guides
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, HR, and other teams to drive adoption and best practices

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.

What you bring to Pacific Seafood

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
  • Experience supporting or leading ERP implementations

Preferred:
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
  • Experience in process manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and cloud-based systems
    perience in the food processing or manufacturing industry.
