Job Overview:

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for driving AI transformation across accounts and segments by helping customers adopt Microsoft AI solutions on an enterprise scale. This role combines consultative selling, technical solution leadership, partner orchestration, and leading excellent project delivery to turn our customer's organizational goals into measurable business outcomes with broad adoption.

The ideal candidate enters executive conversations with a clear point of view, builds clarity in ambiguity, and turns insights into opportunities for the broader team. They are equally comfortable guiding customer transformation, shaping technical solution strategy, orchestrating partners, and coaching others while consistently delivering high-impact outcomes.
Role Summary

This role leads pre-sales activities and strategic customer engagements that translate opportunities into high-value transformation programs. The Senior Solutions Architect develops data-driven pipeline strategies, leads multi-solution conversations, aligns executive stakeholders, and builds repeatable sales and adoption motions that scale across a territory and team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Scale the AI workforce business: Drive AI transformation strategies across accounts and segments, lead multi-solution conversations, create repeatable solution plays, and convert opportunities into sold project work.
  • Drive pre-sales solution strategy: Lead discovery and planning sessions with client stakeholders, define business and technical requirements, identify risks, assumptions, and dependencies, and develop solution approaches that align technology capabilities to customer objectives.
  • Solution and business value leadership: Translate AI and Microsoft technology capabilities into measurable business outcomes, shape customer vision through a compelling point of view, build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders, and architect solutions that clearly demonstrate value, differentiation, and strategic impact.
  • Lead customer engagements: Engage senior decision-makers with deep business context, deliver workshops, demos, and executive engagements, incorporate adoption planning, and ensure engagements translate into real usage and impact.
  • Raise the bar across the team: Coach peers on strategy and execution, share repeatable patterns and insights, and contribute to broader team and segment success.


Responsibilities

Technical and Solution Responsibilities
  • Partner with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into AI-powered solution architectures.
  • Lead technical discussions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts focused on M365, Copilot, and agent scenarios.
  • Design and demonstrate solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent 365, Security, Dynamics Agents, Fabric and Azure AI services.
  • Define governance standards to ensure robust, compliant solutions.
  • Develop agent-based scenarios, including workflow automation, data orchestration, and multi-agent collaboration.
  • Create reusable solution assets, demos, reference architectures, and repeatable enablement materials.
  • Collaborate with internal SMEs and industry specialists to support opportunity qualification, technical validation, and deal closure.
  • Remove technical blockers and accelerate customer decision-making through clear storytelling, demos, and ROI articulation.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI, Copilot, and agent technologies, and share field insights and best practices across teams.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem
  • 8+ years in consulting services with experience leading complex engagements as the senior delivery resource.
  • Experience leading consultative sales, solution strategy, technical pre-sales, or customer transformation engagements.
  • Experience leading org-wide transformation programs, overseeing large delivery teams, and delivering with excellence and high customer satisfaction results.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft AI, Copilot, Agent 365, Security, Data Protection, and Azure AI solution areas.
  • Experience with enterprise AI adoption planning, change management, governance, and usage acceleration.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technology capabilities into measurable business value, ROI, and executive-level transformation narratives.
  • Ability to build and manage multi-threaded relationships across senior executives, business stakeholders, technical teams, and partner organizations.
  • Experience leading pursuits and identifying risks and assumptions early.
  • Ability to deliver compelling workshops, demos, proof-of-concepts, and executive conversations that drive customer commitment and adoption.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to orchestrate internal teams, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and creating clarity that moves stakeholders to action.
  • Experience working within the Microsoft partner ecosystem, co-sell motions, and partner capability activation.
  • Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams.
  • Desire to mentor younger team members and develop their skills.

  • Active Microsoft certifications such as GB-300 GitHub Copilot Associate, AI-103 Azure AI App, Agent Developer Associate, AB-100 Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect, PL-600 Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, SC-300 Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $160,000-190,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
