Responsibilities:

  • A technically savvy, customer-friendly working technician in the field who provides technical support to fellow team members. Works to increases efficiency on jobs by helping to diagnose jobs, decrease installation time, propose the appropriate scope of work and minimize callbacks.

  • While technicians may be contacting the advisor for quick answers, the ultimate goal is for the advisor to help lead the teammate to self-assessing and exercise their own troubleshooting skills. This position is not designed to be an enabler and the answer man-it is to help coach teammates how to think, how to troubleshoot, lest they become dependent upon the advisor.

  • The advisor may also contribute to tech meetings or group chats on technical tips, product information, or installation techniques to help make our service and installations consistent.

  • The technical advisor will be responsible for providing phone support to techs perhaps on non-scheduled workdays. This employee may help provide assessment and feedback on prospective candidates for employment.All responsibilities to be fulfilled with the utmost respect and professionalism in dealings with fellow team members and clients.

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ year of Residential Electrical Service experience is preferred.
  • Valid MICHIGAN Journeyman Electrical License - REQUIRED
  • Must pass Motor Vehicle, Background check and Drug Screen applicable per law
  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Physical dexterity.
