The Role

The candidate will be responsible for managing the Security Investigations Division, including but not limited to leading a team of security investigation professionals. The candidate must possess strong legal acumen related to security practices and regulations, with experience in criminal investigations involving corporate security matters across municipal, county, state, and federal levels.

The candidate must be proficient in investigations case management, as well as technology and software that support case management and related metrics. They must have prior experience managing a variety of investigator personalities to optimize engagement, performance, and professional development.

The candidate must be able to accurately assess problems, formulate comprehensive decisions, achieve positive outcomes, and adapt to shifting priorities. They will be responsible for conducting annual evaluations of investigators, identifying individual strengths and areas for improvement.

The candidate will work directly on tasks that ensure effective management and implementation of policies, procedures, and work instructions designed to protect people, property, information, the HII brand, and other organizational assets. They will also perform all additional assignments as directed by the Director of Security.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in related field and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 4 years of relevant experience. A combination of completed education and experience may be used in lieu of degree.

Must have Secret Security Clearance.

Nice to Have

Possesses demonstrated leadership experience in law enforcement criminal investigations, including service with state or federal law enforcement agencies.
