Salary: $140,000 - $150,000

Job Summary

Working as a Resident Regional Manager, you are responsible for multiple environmental services accounts. You will oversee four different hospital locations within the Boston market. You will manage client relations to ensure that all housekeeping services offered to the customers is of outstanding quality.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for department's financial data and statistics
Monitoring of unit expenditures
Develops and recommends department operating budget and ensures the department operates within budget
Coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments
Actively communicates with administration and other hospital departments
Plans, prioritizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises functions and activities of the department
Establishes work standards and work flow
Establishes and implements policies and procedures for departmental operations
Encourages and mentors staff creativity and innovation
Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies
Acts as a positive role model; proactive in the achievement of the facility goals and objectives
Demonstrates quality leadership in meeting performance plans
Develops and maintains job descriptions for department staff
Encourages staff to participate in education programs

Preferred Qualifications:

Four year college degree and equal related experience required
Six years of housekeeping management experience at a large hospital account required
Multi-site account management experience
Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data
Keen understanding of business dynamics
Excellent problem-solving skills both one-on-one and in group situations
High customer service and quality demeanor
Ability to work under pressure and meet priorities
Excellent verbal communication skills a must
Apply a participative approach to managing staff, to coordinate and prioritize tasks, and to develop budgets with a complete understanding of facility needs and requirements
Excellent stress leadership skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through (with associates and clients) skills required
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
