The Role

A Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operations of a customer network infrastructure.

They oversee the team responsible for monitoring the customer network and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the NOC team.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments and the customer to address network-related problems.
  • Ensure that the network is highly available and meets requirements.
  • Proactively monitor network performance and capacity, and plan for growth as needed.
  • Develop and maintain NOC policies and procedures.
  • Coach and mentor NOC staff on technical issues and professional development.


What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
  • Five or more years' experience in network operations center management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of networking, security, and infrastructure technologies.

  • This requires an overnight shift Mon to Friday 11p to 7am (may vary slightly) depending on the business needs.


Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$84,629 - $112,838 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$88,860 - $118,480 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$93,092 - $124,122 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
