Job DescriptionBAE Systems is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Program Manager for the SSP Logistics Engineering contract, supporting the SP206 Logistics Data Program Area. The team is also responsible for the design development and delivery of the Logistics Data System to the Trident Refit Facilities and NAVSUP for the conduct of submarine refit planning, performance and reporting.
The position is located at the BAE Systems Mechanicsburg, PA field office. Responsibilities include managing all phases of software development projects, including requirements definition, design, code, test, implementation, documentation, and cloud hosting and migration of legacy applications.
Duties include briefing the customer at management reviews, providing status reports, participating in customer working groups, as well as performing data and systems analysis. Communication and collaboration are key to the success of this position. The Program Manager will be responsible for Cost, Schedule and Technical Performance of the projects and will participate in contract related efforts, business development efforts, corporate Program Performance Reviews, Strategy sessions, and Leadership meetings.
The selected candidate will support the Logistics Program Manager as requested and will contribute to, and participate in, meetings and initiatives across the larger Program portfolio.

Required Skills and EducationEducation and years of professional related/relevant professional work experience - Bachelor's Degree preferred, but will consider equivalent education and years of related work in computer science, Engineering, Management or related field.
