Job DescriptionAs a Systems Engineering Manager on this IT Operations Task Order, you will be responsible for:
- The technical planning, execution, delivery, and support of tools & capabilities delivered by the Platform team.
- Integrating with our Agile SME and executing our Agile processes, to include Scrum and various ceremonies
- Back up the Program Manager and other leads as needed
- Be the BAE line-level leader to the BAE resources and the go-to interface for our subcontract partners
- Be the primary interface for he Platform Engineering Product Owner

Required Skills and EducationWe are actively seeking a Systems Engineer Manager to lead the Platform Engineering team with a minimum of 11 years' experience. Information Technology or Engineer Bachelor's or Master's Degrees are preferred. Specific skills should include the following:
- A technical thought leader with the ability to evaluate options and present solutions to Government Product Owners
- Hands on AWS infrastructure and automation (via terraform, cloud formation, and Ansible)
- Hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and Jenkins
- Security Development and Operations (SecDevOps) solutioning
- Familiarity with Splunk or similar SIEM solutions
- Familiarity with Enterprise Cross-domain solutions
- Experience integrating diverse data streams into a data lake
- Experience with ETL and ensuring unstructured data is structured at time of load
- Experience with data transfer tools (Ex: NiFi, Cribl, etc)
- Establishes data standards and acts as custodian of IT and service delivery data sets and streams
- Knowledge of complex environments involving shared networks and multiple security enclaves
- Ability to manage and own platform issues, acting as an Operations Manager during degradations and outages
- Understanding and application of the accreditation process
- Familiarity with and the ability to lead agile scrums
Preferred Skills and Education- Active Splunk Certifications
- Active AWS Certifications
- Knowledge of Cisco's AppDynamics
- Scripting tools to include Python, BASH, ShellScript, or Ansible
- A track record of automating infrastructure into IaaS
- Public, private and hybrid Cloud experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
