Your role:
As the Commercial Marketing Manager for connectivity products in the US market, you will translate global portfolio strategy into focused commercial execution that drives demand, enables the sales organization, and supports profitable growth. You will bring strong market understanding, customer insight, and execution discipline to help Baxter compete in a rapidly evolving connected care environment.
This downstream role is the US commercial counterpart to the upstream global product marketing function. While upstream marketing defines portfolio strategy, innovation priorities, and global roadmaps, this role will focus on turning those strategies into actionable US market plans, differentiated value messages, sales enablement tools, launch execution, and measurable commercial outcomes.
The connectivity portfolio is strategically important to Care and Connectivity Solutions and represents a meaningful opportunity to strengthen Baxter’s value proposition across nurse call, smart devices, clinical communications, locating, and broader connected care workflows. This position will focus on accelerating adoption of connectivity solutions in the US by understanding customer needs, supporting field execution, and partnering across sales, global marketing, product management, clinical, service, and commercial operations.
Your team:
We develop and commercialize solutions with patients, caregivers, and health systems in mind. Our marketing efforts are grounded in customer value, clinical workflow, and commercial impact, so you can be proud of the role you play in helping healthcare teams deliver safer, more connected care.
As part of a large, matrixed organization, you will collaborate with sales, global marketing, product management, strategy, clinical, service, and operations teams to align priorities, remove barriers, and create practical tools that help the US field organization win.
From your leaders to your peers, we operate as a team. We are focused on delivering for patients, customers, and the business while continuing to strengthen the commercial engine behind Baxter’s connected care portfolio.
What you'll be doing:
Develop and execute U.S. downstream marketing strategies for connectivity products, aligning commercial plans with global portfolio objectives and business priorities.
Translate product roadmaps and value propositions into compelling U.S. market positioning, messaging, launch strategies, and customer-facing content.
Serve as the voice of the customer by gathering field feedback, market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to influence product and marketing decisions.
Partner with sales teams to drive pipeline growth, support deal progression, increase adoption, and improve commercial performance across target customer segments.
Create and maintain sales enablement tools including value-selling materials, competitive battlecards, presentations, objection-handling guides, and launch communications.
Lead launch readiness and execution for new products, software releases, and enhancements, including training, communications, performance tracking, and field support.
Collaborate cross-functionally with global marketing, product management, clinical, service, implementation, medical affairs, training, finance, and operations teams to ensure successful commercialization.
Analyze market trends, customer adoption, revenue and pipeline performance, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities, optimize portfolio strategy, and support lifecycle management initiatives.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
3-5 years of commercial marketing, product marketing, sales enablement, or product management experience in a life sciences, medical device, healthcare technology, software, or capital equipment organization.
Experience supporting US market commercialization, launch execution, sales enablement, or downstream marketing for connected care, clinical workflow, digital health, or healthcare technology solutions preferred.
Proven commercial marketing expertise developing and executing downstream marketing strategies that drive growth, product adoption, and business results.
Experience launching healthcare, medical device, software, or connected care solutions, including developing sales enablement tools, messaging, and commercial programs.
Strong ability to translate complex technical capabilities into customer-focused value propositions, positioning, and practical sales resources.
Deep understanding of U.S. healthcare customers, clinical workflows, buying processes, capital equipment sales cycles, and field sales execution.
Data-driven, collaborative marketer with strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills, capable of driving results in complex matrixed organizations.
