Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY

This position is broadly responsible for the implementation of company's sales and marketing strategy and generating new application equipment and gas business through development and sale of engineered solutions addressing customers' needs to customers in the Metals Fabrication Industry using individual's industry/process knowledge and industry contacts.

Essential Functions

Essential Function
• Working closely with Bulk and Packaged Gas sales organizations, and independently to identify and target prospective customers with gas application technology
• Developing and maintaining expert technical relationships with customers
• Leading the application technology implementation from thorough understanding of customer's process requirements through developing technical approaches internally or sourcing technology and equipment from external partners, making customer presentations, developing comprehensive technical proposals, working with multi-functional teams to negotiate commercial terms, setting up and conducting on-site demonstrations and trials, and implementing final solution at the customer.
• Evaluating, consolidating and promoting existing controlled atmosphere, welding, and lasing gas product lines, and managing strategy for launch of market-focused programs nationally.
  • Developing application training material and conducting sales organization training, compiling and disseminating information on competitor products and activities and technology/market trends.

Heat treat engineer in manufacturing or R&D environment. Experience in the industrial gases industry providing product applications support and selling to Metals Fabrication industry will be helpful.

• Knowledge of heat treat processes and equipment, and governing codes.
