LOCATION: Imperial Beach, CA
Position Summary: The MESF Project Manager serves as the senior contractor lead responsible for overall contract execution, performance management, and interface with Government leadership. The Project Manager ensures all task areas are completed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), schedule, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall program management, direction, and control for all contract activities.
- Serve as the primary interface with the Contracting Officer (KO), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and MESG ONE leadership.
- Oversee execution across all Objective Areas (learning standards, curriculum, exercises, force development, program management).
- Ensure timely delivery of all contract deliverables including reports, curriculum updates, and training products.
- Develop and implement management plans, staffing strategies, and quality control processes.
- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance metrics to ensure successful contract execution.
- Lead internal coordination and risk mitigation efforts.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years Navy expeditionary or MESF experience.
- 3 years of recent MESF experience as a uniformed service member or a government contractor "Recent" as defined as within the past 5 years.
- 3 years of PM experience as a contractor in the past 5 years; or 3 years of experience as uniformed service member E7 to E9, O-3 to O-5, or W-2 or higher.
- Must have served as a Commanding Officer, Officer in Charge, CVN Department Head or Senior Level Administrator.
- Must have experience with oral briefings and writing skills to engage with leadership within MESF and organizations within the community of interest and personnel.
