  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for technical leadership.

Job Description Summary:
Join our team at the Draper Microfabrication Facility as an MES Engineer!
In this role, you will be working in a team responsible for the development, execution, control, and continuous improvement of the MES-focused software and networking systems critical to streamlining the production of novel, advanced MEMs.

This role is an onsite position and is not eligible for remote work.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Set up and maintenance of semiconductor tool-to-MES communication protocols
  • Maintain the facility's MES-enabled computer network
  • Drive the implementation of production lot barcoding and remote monitoring systems
  • Perform UAT and/or training to new MES capabilities and update documentation


What we Need:
  • Experience with maintenance of MES systems in a production environment.
  • Expertise in 3 of the above Key Responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with 6S/Lean principles.
  • A learning, problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellence with team-based communication and coordination.


Highly desired:
  • Experience with Eyelit MES.
  • Experience with SECS/GEM protocol.
  • Experience working in cleanrooms.


Additional Job Description:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$62,500.00 - $220,000.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role.
