Full Job Description
Job Responsibilities:

MES Engineer wanted in Piedmont, South Carolina to lead role with Code development, customization, and support of Decostar's MES system; build and maintain production applications; develop software applications; analyze, design and test Manufacturing Execution Applications; proficient with part grouping, part classifications, and part attributes; perform BOM setup and troubleshooting; perform RFID scanning solutions and integrate with MES; develop EDI interface; interface and communicate regarding deployment between MES and ERP; interface architecture and design experience with MES and Shopfloor PLC data to IOT environments including MS Azure; prepare and maintain detailed MES documentation; meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Decostar; perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department's established procedures and work instructions; provide MES operational support to ensure the stability and efficiency of systems and services; gather and analyze MES requirements for production lines; configure and develop MES Systems; lead MES-related projects within the production plant; validate and implement new MES; and create reports to provide valuable information to the business. Perform other duties as directed. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or Intelligent Systems and 60 months of related experience as a MES Engineer, MES Group Leader, Business Analyst, AMS Leader or MES Developer. The related experience must include provide MES operational support to ensure the stability and efficiency of systems and services; gather and analyze MES requirements for production lines; configure and develop MES Systems; lead MES-related projects within the production plant; validate and implement new MES; and create reports to provide valuable information to the business. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; M-F, $114,109.00 per year.
