Full Job Description
Position Summary

The School- Based Mental Health Therapist provides direct psychosocial care to patients and families in collaboration with physicians, case managers, and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, care planning, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, patient/family education, and coordination of resources to support patient outcomes and discharge planning.

Essential Functions
  • Complete diagnostic intakes and psychosocial assessments
  • Provide psychotherapy and psychosocial support to assigned patients
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care coordination and patient progress
  • Support discharge planning by addressing psychosocial barriers and connecting patients with resources
  • Monitor medication effectiveness and report concerns to the physician as needed
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Use feedback-informed treatment (FIT) in clinical practice
  • Conduct or assist with family meetings, referrals, and case-related coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement, committees, and on-call coverage as assigned
  • Provide coverage for absences and vacancies when needed

Salary Range: Minimum 32.40/hour - Maximum 53.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
